Higher Education for the 21st Century

Welcome to Minerva

Combining an innovative curriculum with an unparalleled, immersive global experience, Minerva is the only university built to prepare students for success in the 21st century.

Minerva is home to students from all over the world, who seek to continue their pursuit of data-driven, intentionally designed academics and who are ready to apply their problem-solving skills to our world’s most complex challenges.

In support of iEARN's mission to help students learn about the world through living and studying abroad, Minerva is offering a $10,000 scholarship to an admitted YES or NSLI-Y participant who exhibits financial need.

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2021 enrollment. If you are interested in applying for a subsequent class, you may begin the first part of the application on our website, and we will reach out to inform you when the admissions process reopens.

Minerva's unique and exclusively meritocratic admissions process evaluates student potential rather than opportunity. As a result, the Minerva student body is the most diverse in higher education with ~80% of students coming from outside the United States.

While tuition is already a quarter of that at other highly-selective institutions, as a YES or NSLI-Y participant you are eligible for a $10,000 need-based scholarship. If accepted to Minerva, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship—no additional essays or application needed.

An education built for global explorers

The role of a university education is to prepare students to thrive as leaders and innovators. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, it is more important than ever that students experience and engage with different cultures and backgrounds throughout college.

Minerva is a truly global university program. Students spend their first year living in San Francisco and then travel with their classmates to a different city each subsequent semester—Seoul and Hyderabad sophomore year, Berlin and Buenos Aires during junior year, and London and Taipei during senior year. At Minerva, students don't live in an isolated campus bubble studying the world from afar. They experience it first hand, using these world-class cities as their classroom and campus.
