Fatou Badiane-Toure is the Managing Director of Global Outreach at Minerva, where she leads Minerva's strategy for attracting talented and motivated students into Minerva's undergraduate and graduate programs. Previously, Badiane-Toure served as the Managing Director for Africa, then Middle East and Europe. Through her experience in African Education, Fatou has participated in panels globally discussing education innovation, technology in education, leadership in education ,and the internationalization of education.
Badiane-Toure previously worked at the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, an institution that develops future leaders of Africa, as the Associate Director of Admissions in Francophone of West and Central Africa. She was also Lead Education Policy and Program Consultant for various U.S. and Africa-based youth and women’s empowerment organizations. Badiane-Toure earned her M.A. in International Development from Teachers College Columbia University, a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and Management from Illinois Institute of Technology, and her BSc in Computer Information Systems from Towson University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
