Rinad Al Anakrih
A fourth-year student, Rinad Al Anakrih values how much she has grown, both personally and professionally, since coming to Minerva. It is on this growth trajectory that she has learned to embrace new perspectives and, just as importantly, question her own.
Natural Sciences and Social Sciences
Rinad’s deep interest in the sciences led her to take on a summer research position at the University of California, Berkeley. There, she honed her lab techniques and came to understand the important distinction between learning and applying science. With her sights set on affecting change in the public health sector, Rinad eventually plans to pursue a master’s degree in public health, and has identified global health, poverty alleviation, and refugee resettlement as areas in which she is particular interested.
