Geoffrey Swift

Geoffrey Swift is the current Vice President for Finance and Administration, and Treasurer for Bates College overseeing the finance, facilities, dining and human resource functions. Before Bates, Swift spent a decade at Harvard University—serving five years as Budget Director at Harvard Business School and over five years as Associate Dean for Finance and CFO at Harvard Law School. Earlier in his career, he worked in economic consulting and merchant banking in Washington, D.C., Austin TX, and Boston MA.

In addition to his role with Minerva University, he chairs the Investment Committee of the John T. Gorman Foundation, and serves on the board of Central Maine Healthcare and the Healthcare Purchaser's Alliance.

Geoffrey earned his B.A. from Amherst College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
